Patrice Aguilar
is a professional nature photographer who lives in Marseille, France. As a life-long Provençal, Patrice knows the Provence and Camargue regions intimately. His images are regularly published in a variety of French periodicals including Terre de Provence and Pays de Provence, as well as a number of brochures, posters, calendars and postcards. In addition to his photography, Patrice is also a proficient birder and has worked as an ornithologist in the Parc Régional de Camargue. He has presented his delightful images at numerous photographic exhibitions throughout France including the International Nature and Wildlife Photo Festival of Montier en Der.

Paulo Boute
is one of the pioneering birders and ornithologists in Brazil. Paulo has over 20 years of experience guiding birders and photographers throughout Brazil and abroad, but his first love is the wildlife-rich Pantanalan area he knows intimately. Paulo has led private wildlife expeditions for such legendary birders as Roger Tory Peterson and Robert Ridgely. He also shares his knowledge and wry sense of humor with Brazilians on his weekly radio program concerning birdwatching and environmental education. Paulo lives in Cuiabá, Brazilgateway to the Pantanal.

Perry Conway
is a veteran leader of photographic workshops and tours. His photographs have appeared in a variety of publications, including National Wildlife, Audubon, National Geographic, Outdoor Photographer, Newsweek, and Sierra Club calendars. Perry has photographed and edited multimedia educational programs including Rainforest Wildlife and Conservation, Prairie Dog Ecosystems, Learning to Live with Wildlife, Colorado’s Endangered Species and Colorado’s Watchable Wildlife. With a background in both teaching and biology, he is well suited to interpret natural history as well as to help others capture these events with their cameras. Perry lives in Boulder, Colorado.

José Delgado
is Spain's rising nature photography star. José has had extensive experience photographing throughout Europe's spectacular alpine regions as well as across the Iberian Peninsula. His photography has been commended by the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest and has appeared in Nature's Best. José has considerable experience leading international trekking and photography tours. His photographs have been published in Geo (German and French editions), Outside, Traveller, BBC Wildlife, Time, Terre Sauvage, Der Spiegel, L'Express, Naturfoto and Terra. José is fluent in six languages and acts as a freelance translator/interpreter for government agencies and multinational corporations. José lives in Madrid.

Jack Dykinga
is a Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer whose work reflects the merging of a photojournalistic, documentary approach with large-format landscape photography, focusing on environmental issues in the southwestern United States and Mexico. His images can be seen in a wide variety of publications such as Arizona Highways, Time, Natural History, Outside, Harpers, Sierra Club, Audubon, Wilderness Society and National Geographic. Jack's work has been featured with cover stories in both Outdoor Photographer and Popular Photography, as well as seen on NBC's Today Show. He has co-produced several wilderness advocacy books including Frog Mountain Blues, The Sonoran Desert, The Secret Forest, Stone Canyons of the Colorado Plateau, Desert: The Mojave and Death Valley, Large Format Nature Photography and Jack Dykinga’s Arizona. Jack lives in Tucson, Arizona.

Chris Edwards
spent three summers and two winters stationed in Stonington and Alexander Islands in Antarctica in the early 1970s. As a geologist for the British Antarctic Survey, he would regularly travel hundreds of miles by dogsled, camping for six months at a time away from base to conduct his field research. This research was the basis for his doctral dissertation and he was awarded a Ph.D. in 1981 by the University of Birmingham. His experience and knowledge of the geology, botany, wildlife and exploration history of Antarctica, the Arctic and British Isles make him a sought-after lecturer, field guide and expedition leader. Chris lives with his family in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Julie Eggers
a professional photographer and a native of Seattle, has been pursuing her love of nature and landscape photography since 1992. Since leaving her job in investment banking in 1999, she has been pursuing nature and landscape photography fulltime. Julie has been published in many nature and landscape calendars, including Inner Reflections, Audubon, Teldon, Avalanche, as well as several Reiman Publications to name a few. She has also been a tour leader for the past few years with her husband Terry. Julie and Terry have also conducted many speaking engagements and seminars together. Julie is represented by 3 stock agencies, including Corbis.

Terry Eggers
is a professional nature photographer who has aggressively marketed his work over the last 18 years. His work has appeared world wide in numerous publications, including Sierra Club, Nature Conservancy, Inner Reflections, Audubon and Reiman Publishing to name a few. His images are represented by four stock agencies worldwide including Corbis International and Panoramic Images in Chicago.
For the past 11 years, Terry has been leading tours and teaching photography throughout North America and he has been conducting speaking engagements and seminars to share his vision and knowledge of digital photography. He lives with his professional-photographer wife, Julie, in Seattle

Jeff Foott
is a California native who studied biology at San Jose State University. Following school he worked as a researcher at Moss Landing Marine Laboratories where he studied sea otters and published several scientific papers. Jeff has also worked as a park ranger in Yosemite National Park, a professional climbing guide and on the ski patrol at Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Around 1970 his interests in photographing and filming nature and wildlife led to a new career direction. Since then he has filmed for Nova, National Geographic, BBC and the US Fish and Wildlife Service. His still images have appeared in hundreds of magazines including Audubon, National Geographic, National Wildlife and International Wildlife as well as numerous books, calendars, posters and note cards. Jeff spends summers in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and winters in Moab, Utah.

Michael H. Francis
is a full-time nature photographer working out of Montana. His wildlife photographs have appeared in numerous publications, including Field & Stream, Outdoor Life, National Wildlife, Audubon, Time and Natural History. Mike is also the sole photographer of more than 15 books, including Mule Deer Country, Elk Country, Into the Wind…Wild Horses of North America, Track of the Coyote, Moose, Antelope Country and a number of wildlife-viewing guides to the national parks. He is an active member of NANPA and served as president of the board of directors in 2003. Mike is currently working on nine book projects including a Yellowstone book that is thirty years in the making. Mike lives in Billings, Montana with his wife and daughters and his 25 turtles and tortoises.

Darrell Gulin
is an accomplished photographer as well as an in-demand speaker, teacher, 2005 NANPA president and photo tour leader. For nearly two decades he has been creating and marketing images and has spent the past 11 years as a full-time nature photographer. His work has been published in numerous nature and wildlife magazines including Outdoor Photographer, Outdoor & Nature, Newsweek, National Geographic, Audubon, Wilderness, National Wildlife, Birder’s World, Sunset, Nature Conservancy and Popular Photography as well as in major nature calendars. Darrell is a veteran photo tour leader and he has both taught and been a featured speaker at photography seminars and workshops worldwide. Darrell lives with his wife Sylvia in Seattle, Washington—his lifelong hometown.

Akos Hivekovics

in population estimation. He

manager, environmental consultant,
travel writer and nature photographer. He is the first
(and only) Hungarian to visit seven continents by the
time he reached the age of 25, and travel in over 100
countries by the age of 30! Akos’ publications include

Adam Jones
has continually honed his craft as a nature photographer for more than 20 years. Today his images are widely published in
national and international publications, greeting cards, magazines, billboards, posters, textbooks, calendars, national
ads and annual reports for major corporations. With well over 100 calendar credits annually, Adam's
wildlife and scenic images are highly sought after and the Guilfoyle Report recently
recognized him as one of the top five contributors to Sierra Club's calendar line. The same report also
honored him in their International Greeting Card competition. In 1995, he won the "In Praise of Plants" category of
the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition in which there were more than 19,000 entrants. Adam lives
in Lousiville, Kentucky.

Aubrey Lang
has worn many different hats in the past fourteen years of her
freelance work. She has written for several magazines, has four
books to her credit, and has co-authored four nature documentary
scripts for television. She is well traveled and has acted in many
capacities on 30 expedition cruises several to Antarctica.
Between these jobs she operates the Lang and Lynch stock
photography business and works as a team with her husband, Wayne
Lynch, in the field on wilderness photography assignments.

Darran Leal
Darran Leal began his career as a professional photographer in 1980. Since that time he’s been engaged in numerous photo assignments for private companies and governmental agencies. In addition to producing photos for his 6 books, and for dozens of magazine, calendars and postcards, his work has been commissioned by Qantas Airlines, Sea World and Kodak. Darran has led over 200 tours, workshops and other educational photo events in Australia, New Zealand and the USA. He splits his time between homes on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia and just north of Auckland in New Zealand with his wife and two sons.

Dr. Wayne Lynch
is a former emergency physician who has worked for more than a quarter century as a full-time science writer and photographer. He is the author of award-winning books and television documentaries, a popular guest lecturer, and Canada’s best known and most widely published professional wildlife photographer. His photo credits include hundreds of magazine covers and tens of thousands of images published in over two dozen countries. Wayne is a veteran tour leader, having led over 150 trips worldwide. He lives in Calgary, Alberta with his wife, Aubrey Lang.

James Martin,
once a guide in the North Cascades and Canadian Rockies, is a writer and photographer based in Seattle. In addition to creating a series of award-winning science books for children, Jim wrote the first comprehensive study of chameleons in 1992, Chameleons: Masters of Disguise with Art Wolfe. His most recent books are Digital Photography Outdoors: A Field Guide for Adventure & Travel Photographers,
North Cascades Crest and Extreme Alpinism with Mark Twight. He has been published in Smithsonian, Sports Illustrated, Climbing, Outside, Outdoor Photographer and a host of other periodicals. Jim counts his unexpected experiences, such as swimming with orcas in the Galápagos, waiting out a storm on a South Georgia Island traverse, or being accosted by an orangutan in Borneo, as the best part of any trip.

Joe and Mary Ann McDonald
are accomplished naturalists, professional wildlife photographers and writers. Joe has written how-to books on wildlife photography, digital photography and Photoshop. Mary Ann has written more than 29 children's books on natural history topics and she is a two-time winner of categories in the BBC Photographer of the Year award and Nature's Best annual competition. Together they have led numerous tours to the Falkland Islands and are very familiar with the islands' best spots for photography and wildlife viewing. For years Joe and Mary Ann have led tours and taught photography workshops to people of all skills.

Mehmet Özbalci
is an exceptional English-speaking guide thoroughly versed in Turkish history and culture. He is a wonderful travel companion, knowledgeable in the needs of getting photographers to the right place and best times to create iconic images of Turkey and its people. An excellent photographer himself, his charming, funny and personable demeanor make it very easy for you to meet and photograph the local people and visit "behind the scenes" locations throughout your tour. Mehmet lives in Istanbul with his wife and son.

Todd Winslow Pierce
is a professional landscape photographer based in Colorado. Along with his own online stock photo agency, Todd works on
assignment to apply his unique vision to diverse locations and subjects. His thoughtful and artistic approach has earned him
commissions in Austria, Italy, Costa Rica, the Bahamas and the Turks & Caicos Islands. Todd’s images have appeared on
the covers and pages of regional and national publications and are used in editorial, advertising, and book projects. Todd
has been leading photo workshops in Colorado since 1996, where he began teaching under the wings of John Shaw, Galen
Rowell and Art Wolfe. A lifetime resident of Vail, Todd leads an active life as an accomplished skier, hiker and cyclist.

Alejandro Ronchetti
is one of Argentina’s most renowned wildlife photographers. His images have been published in numerous books, magazines, corporate publications and educational materials in several Latin American countries. Alejandro is also an enthusiastic interpretive naturalist with almost 25 years of experience leading groups of photographers and birders throughout Argentina and South America. He is the author of several conservation projects that have created numerous protected habitats in his country. His special conservation interests include tropical wetlands and Patagonia. Alejandro has also worked for the Argentine Tourism Board assisting local communities and government agencies in their development of ecotourism and sustainable tourism.

Len Rue, Jr.
is a nationally known photographer whose work has been featured in hundreds of publications worldwide. He has traveled extensively throughout North America and internationally, using his intimate knowledge of nature to create his distinctive style of wildlife stock imagery. Len’s photo work has appeared on dozens of magazine covers and in numerous catalogs, brochures, advertising and educational materials. In addition, he is the business manager of Leonard Rue Enterprises and director of the L.L. Rue Catalog, which specializes in unique photographic equipment, books and videos for wildlife and nature photographers. Len lives in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains where he lectures and teaches nature photography at East Stroudsburg University.

John Shaw
has been hailed by American Photographer as "one of the best nature photographers around" and we agree! He is the author of six books including John Shaw’s Landscape Photography, Focus on Nature and John Shaw’s Business of Nature Photography. John is a great teacher both in workshops and in the field. He makes his home in McMinnville, Oregon.

Anna Sutcliffe
is a wildlife ecologist with a deep commitment to developing environmental awareness through education and interpretation. With a degree in geography and ecology from Reading University, she has participated in research projects in the UK, Canary Islands and Russia and has extensively studied a variety of seabirds. For more than a decade, Anna has been a naturalist and/or expedition leader on expedition cruises to Antarctica, South Georgia, the Falkland Islands, the Arctic, Norway, the Seychelles and coastal Britain and Scotland. She has particularly strong knowledge of the ecology, birds and sea mammals of Antarctica. She lives with her husband Steve in West Wales, UK.

Rinie van Meurs

He is a leading authority on the wildlife of Spitsbergen, and his field lectures and presentations will leave you with an excellent understanding of the flora, fauna and history of this extraordinary arctic region. Rinie studied forestry and civil engineering before finding his passions for travel, wildlife and photography. Jeff Vanuga's

John Weller
is a nature photographer and writer based in Boulder, Colorado. Trained in economics and philosophy at Stanford University he became a professional photographer in 1999 after studying under world-renowned photographer William Neill. John’s work has been shown in prestigious museums and galleries, and is part of private and corporate collections across the country. His highly acclaimed first book of photography and essays, Great Sand Dunes National Park: Between Light and Shadow, was published in 2004 and it has won national attentionincluding the Best Book Mountain Image Award at the 2004 Banff Book Festivaland was the subject of a documentary film. The National Museum of Wildlife Art is sponsoring a traveling museum show of 38 photographs from the project. John received the National Geographic-sponsored Galen Rowell Conservational Photography Award at the 2005 Telluride Mountain Film Festival.

Michele Westmorland
Michele is a full-time freelance photographer who possesses skills as both an underwater and “topside” photographer.
She has photographed in Africa, the Carribean, Solomon Islands, Indonesia, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and many
other locations. Over the past 15 years she has regularly traveled to Papua New Guinea, developing a love for and
fascination with the country’s ocean environments and tribes of the Highland Territory. She recently spent two
months exploring remote locations in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands which culminated in an article in
the April 2006 issue of Smithsonian Magazine. Her most recent project is titled “Headhunt Revisited” which
chronicles the journey of an American woman artist of the 20s. Also in the works is an underwater photography
book titled Ocean Duets. She was recently voted in as a founding member of prestigious International
League of Conservation Photographers. Michele lives in Bothell, Washington.

Stuart Westmorland
is recognized as one of the leading marine photographers in the United States. His marine mammal and natural history images appear in a variety of books, magazines, posters, calendars, brochures and aquarium displays. He has led photo and natural history trips for nearly two decades, and conducted many photography seminars at yearly film festivals, camera clubs and nature groups. He was profiled at a NANPA conference as one of Tony Stone (now Getty) Images’ most successful marine and nature photographers. Stuart resides in Mill Creek, Washington.

Cliff Zenor
is a talented nature photographer, veteran tour leader and photo workshop instructor. He has led more than 100 workshops and tours in parks and preserves across the United States and in far-flung places including Kenya and the Galápagos Islands. His photographs have appeared in Outdoor Photographer, Horticulture and Fine Gardening magazines, in the Chicago Tribune and in textbooks and books. He was the principal photographer for Indoor Gardening and a participant in the Nature of America and Daybreak 2000 book projects. Cliff is an excellent teacher and an enthusiastic traveling companion. He lives with his wife, Mary, in northern Indiana.
